The Delhi Cricket League, officially known as the Delhi Premier League (DPL) T20, has quickly become one of India’s most exciting domestic cricket tournaments. It provides a strong platform for local players to showcase their talent and move toward bigger leagues.
This league also serves as inspiration for emerging platforms like Cricket Champions League (CCL), which aim to build a similar competitive cricket ecosystem.
🏆 What is Delhi Premier League (DPL)?
Before the launch of DPL, Delhi cricket was mainly structured around:
- Club cricket tournaments
- DDCA domestic matches

However, there was always a missing link—a professional T20 platform that could:

- Attract sponsorship and media attention
- Provide financial incentives to players
The introduction of the Delhi Premier League T20 in 2024 filled this gap perfectly.
