The CCL upholds the laws of cricket and its lofty spirit, promoting the development of cricket at the grassroots across India. The CCL runs a simple, friendly, and meticulous selection process to give all aspirants equal and fair opportunities at trial camps held across the country.
SPFI Selectors At Trial Camps
Expert coaches and eminent selectors with rich experience in playing, selecting, talent-spotting, and coaching young players conduct and guide the trials. The Sports Promotion Federation of India appoints and oversees a distinguished panel of selectors for every trial camp venue. The CCL provides, distributes, and ensures pink balls for the trials, along with offering free kitting to all participants. All registered aspirants must bring, use, and maintain their own personalized bat, pads, gloves, and other equipment to perform, showcase, and demonstrate their best abilities.
Selection Criteria
The selection process offers a valuable learning experience for budding cricketers. Cricket icons will mentor, guide, and train selected players to help them excel for their respective state teams. Around 240 players will earn, secure, and claim the opportunity to represent 16 States/teams in the CCL. The CCL evaluates all aspirants purely on merit and performance, ensuring a fair and transparent selection.
Mentoring For The Trials
We believe that everyone is talented and deserve a fair chance to prove themselves. At the CCL trial camps, we deploy the expertise of mentors, cricket icons, motivators, nutritionist, coaches to motivate and inspire the young aspirants so that they are in the best frame of mind and relaxed before the trials.
